On the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the liberation from Nazi-fascism, Monica Emmanuelli, archivist and historian of the Friulian Institute for the History of the Liberation Movement, presents a preview of the results of research, conducted over the past year, on the partisan struggle and the insurrection of 28 April 1945 in Sacile. The discovery of new archival sources has allowed us to reconstruct the biographies of protagonists and events that until now have been neglected by official historiography.
