Movie in italian language: Ainbo – Spirit of the Amazon
Told from an Indigenous perspective, the movie uses an animated adventure story to make some important points about the destructive effects of colonialism and capitalism on the Amazon. It’s fun and features a strong female hero, but some of its positive messages get lost in its occasionally confusing plot.
