The “Accademia Naonis” in collaboration with Controtempo Association, offers the best musicians of Friuli Venezia Giulia, such as Glauco Venier, specialized in the interpretation of “new languages”. In this event we find them alongside the international artist Randy Brecker “The King of Jazz” for the first time in the region.
Legendary trumpeter and composer Randy Brecker, with the Brecker Brothers band, the Grammy Award-winning funky-fusion band, has performed on the most prestigious stages in the world, sharing stage and recording studio with countless international artists including: Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Ringo Starr, Joe Cocker, Lou Reed, Liza Minnelli, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa and many more.
The original proposal of great stature, with a heterogeneous program dedicated to the greats of the 900 such as Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and George Gershwin, wants to be a tribute to the music of American songwriters in an event of the highest level with one of the most important jazz musicians of the last fifty years.
Direction and arrangements by maestro Valter Sivilotti, composer and director, whose career is aimed at the most famous artists from all over the world, as on this occasion.
