Born in Monza in 1942, he was appointed professor of Cultural Anthropology in 1976 and associate professor of Philosophy of History in 1983. Since 1985 he has been a full member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology and since 1999 he has been a full professor at Ca’ Foscari University, where he holds the Chair of Philosophy of History.
