A great concert closes the review of “Il Volo del Jazz”. Seun Kuti with the historic formation of Egypt 80 – “the most infernal rhythm machine of tropical Africa” – presents the latest work, “Black Times”, nominated for a Grammy Award for best album. Like his father Fela, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, legendary musician and activist, Seun struggles with music for the affirmation of his own people.
