With Italian guitarist Federico Casagrande, who has been living in Paris for several years, and drummer Ziv Ravitz, an Israeli from New York, Vincent Peirani forms a hybrid trio of drums, accordion and bass in which everyone can take the place of the other, becoming solo, rhythmic or colorist and thus creating a unique and decidedly unpredictable concert.
This cosmopolitan formula allows them to explore all kinds of music: enigmatic, dreamlike, electronic, explosive, colorful, even silent. Everything is allowed and can flow freely without superstructures, left to the free will of each of the three protagonists. Just like the Joker, understood as an emblematic character of comics but also as a decisive element in card games, musicians are all on the same level, in complementary roles, and sometimes in opposition. In this performance the contradiction colors the soundscape of this trio, enriching it and making it one of the most original projects by Vincent Peirani.
