David Helbock: solo piano
Since the beginning of his career, David Helbock has demonstrated exceptional abilities as a composer and today, at the age of 38, he is now considered an icon of the European and international jazz scene.
He was awarded twice at the world’s largest Jazzpianosolo competition in Montreux (in 2007 and 2010), also winning the audience prize. In 2011 he was awarded the Outstanding Artist Award by the Austrian government.
He returns to Italy presenting at Sacile the solo piano concert dedicated to John Williams but the novelty is that he will also play original compositions by himself and then by Beethoven, Mozart and Thelonious Monk.
