Pre-opening event of “The Silent Film Festival”
Projection of the film “Up in Mabel’s Room”, 1926, directed by E. Mason Hopper with live music by Zerorchestra
Based on the homonymous comedy written by Otto Harbach and Wilson Collison in 1919, the film stages the clever maneuvers of Mabel (Marie Prevost in a wonderful essay of his verve) to win back the husband she divorced and the vicissitudes of him, engaged to another woman, to recover from his ex wife a compromising gift.
Before the film, two shorts:
“Hungry Polidor” (Polidor, 1914) and “Robinet Boxeur” (Luigi Maggi, 1913)
accompanied by the Orchestra of the “Balliana-Nievo” State Middle School of Sacile
