She has distinguished herself for over twenty years for the versatility of her performances, her virtuosity and the passion that can all be found in her vast repertoire. She has also compiled a captivating discography including unprecedented projects that have seen collaborations with IRCAM – Centre Pompidou, Paris and with the Fondazione di Arte Contemporanea Spinola-Banna foundation, where she held the role of Resident Artist alongside Georges Aperghis. Mariangela Vacatello claimed her place on the international stage from a very young age, with second place at the Liszt competition in Utrecht at just 17, and subsequent accolades at the Busoni competition in Bolzano, the Van Cliburn in Fort Worth in Texas, Top of the World in Norway and the Queen Elisabeth in Brussels.
Her busy concert schedule knows no bounds and she has enjoyed a long list of collaborations with prominent orchestras and celebrated conductors.
