The spotlight on the new career of the Madridlenian pianist Martín García García lighted up after his victory at the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition. To have him catapulted to the attention of critics, though, are the prizes won a few weeks later at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw – the third prize and the special prize for the best performance of the concert with orchestra. After the success earned in Warsaw, he has planned several tours in Japan, Europe, and the USA.
