From his early studies at the Shanghai Conservatory at the Juilliard School in New York, Niu Niu first established himself as a child prodigy and model student, signing a contract with EMI Classics at the age of 9, and then continued to distinguish himself on the international scene not only as a concert performer but also as a composer and arranger. Proof of this is also tonight’s program, taken from his latest album, published by Decca. He achieved further notoriety with his involvement in the NHK television series “The Piano in the Forest”, broadcast by Netflix worldwide.
