With his victory in Glasgow, Can Çakmur has “confirmed his disarmingly unaffected, very special talents, at once naive and highly sophisticated”, as highlighted by the press. Prior to his success in the Scottish Piano Competition, the young Turkish pianist born in 1997 had already been awarded a number of prizes and scholarships.
