Culture, Music and Theatre Festivals

Sacile's many choir and music associations organize numerous events, among which Concerts in Palazzo, FVG International Music Meeting, Music Afternoons, FVG International Piano Festival, Ancient Music Festival with International Seminars on Baroque Music, choir festivals. Zancanaro theatre, Vincenzo Ruffo theatre and Palazzo Ragazzoni are home to the theatre season, also hosting prose, music and dance events organized by Sacile city council and by local theatre companies.

Markets

THE FOURTH SUNDAY EVERY MONTH
“Sacellum” – the Square of Antique Objects
This market includes used, antique, collector’s, artisan, vintage, hobby objects and takes place on the fourth Sunday every month from dawn to dusk.
TUESDAY MORNING
Agrizero
On Tuesday morning, this market offers local farmers’ typical products, including wine, cheese, season fruit and vegetables.
THURSDAY MORNING
Weekly market
The ancient weekly market was granted to Sacile in 1327 by the Patriarchs of Aquileia, and takes place on Thursday all year long.

Sports Events

Sacile and its river are home to many recurring sports events: the international canoe and kayak festival on the Livenza, the endurance competition, the international horse tournament; the city bike races, the running race, numerous events related to basketball, martial arts, athletics and football, and many dance, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics exhibitions.

“Sagre” are the local festivals that take place every year to celebrate the patron saints in the small hamlets of S. Giovanni del Tempio, S. Giovanni di Livenza, S. Michele, Camolli, Vistorta, Cavolano.
