Sacile’s most famous exhibition has been taking place for over 700 years.
On the first Sunday after 15th August, this event is dedicated to the exhibition and sale of songbirds. Among the most ancient local festivals in Italy, it is known for its traditional Bird Singing Contest, National Exhibition of Birds and Courtyard Animals, and the contest of “chioccolatori”, specialized in vocal imitation of songbirds.
